Nineteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time

I wait for the Lord;
my soul waits for his word.

[ARCHBISHOP VIGANO’S LETTER TO PRESIDENT TRUMP]

[ALTHOUGH IT MAY SEEM DISCONCERTING, THE OPPOSING ALIGNMENTS I HAVE DESCRIBED ARE ALSO FOUND IN RELIGIOUS CIRCLES.]

(me)

(were not the workers disconcerted when they came to the Master about the weeds in the field? when asked, “Do you want us to go and pull them up?”, did He not reply, “No, if you pull up the weeds you might uproot the wheat along with them. Let them grow together until harvest…”?; given that tempting God in words or deeds is forbidden by the first commandment and that this letter harbors doubt about his love, his providence, and his power, couldn’t the publishing of this letter be an act of irreligion in and of itself?)

{Today’s Scriptures}

{A strong and heavy wind was rending the mountains
and crushing rocks before the LORD—
but the LORD was not in the wind.
After the wind there was an earthquake—
but the LORD was not in the earthquake.
After the earthquake there was fire—
but the LORD was not in the fire.
After the fire there was a tiny whispering sound.
When he heard this,
Elijah hid his face in his cloak}

[THERE ARE FAITHFUL SHEPHERDS WHO CARE FOR THE FLOCK OF CHRIST, BUT THERE ARE ALSO MERCENARY INFIDELS WHO SEEK TO SCATTER THE FLOCK AND HAND THE SHEEP OVER TO BE DEVOURED BY RAVENOUS WOLVES.]

(knowing that anyone, vigano included, who uses the power at his disposal, such as being an archbishop, in such a way that it leads others to do wrong becomes guilty of scandal and responsible for the evil that he has directly or indirectly encouraged -“Temptations to sin are sure to come; but woe to him by whom they come!”- couldn’t the publishing of this letter be a scandalous act in and of itself?

{R. Lord, let us see your kindness, and grant us your salvation.
I will hear what God proclaims;
the LORD — for he proclaims peace.}

[IT IS NOT SURPRISING THAT THESE MERCENARIES ARE ALLIES OF THE CHILDREN OF DARKNESS AND HATE THE CHILDREN OF LIGHT: JUST AS THERE IS A DEEP STATE, THERE IS ALSO A DEEP CHURCH THAT BETRAYS ITS DUTIES AND FORSWEARS ITS PROPER COMMITMENTS BEFORE GOD.]

(where in scripture is there mention of children of darkness? since all are created by God, even satan, are not all children of Light?   are not archbishop vigano’s “children of darkness” rather “children of light” who choose not to be enlightened and strengthened by the Holy Spirit to live as “children of light” through “all that is good and right and true.”? if archbishop vigano’s claims about “children of darkness” are inaccurate, why should I believe that his claims about “deep state” and “deep church” are “good and right and true”? and if archbishop vigano’s claims are not enlightened and strengthened by the Holy Spirit then couldn’t the publishing of this letter be an act of living in darkness in and of itself?)

{Brothers and sisters:
I speak the truth in Christ, I do not lie;
my conscience joins with the Holy Spirit in bearing me witness
that I have great sorrow and constant anguish in my heart.
For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ
for the sake of my own people,
my kindred according to the flesh.}

[THUS THE INVISIBLE ENEMY, WHOM GOOD RULERS FIGHT AGAINST IN PUBLIC AFFAIRS, IS ALSO FOUGHT AGAINST BY GOOD SHEPHERDS IN THE ECCLESIASTICAL SPHERE. IT IS A SPIRITUAL BATTLE, WHICH I SPOKE ABOUT IN MY RECENT APPEAL WHICH WAS PUBLISHED ON MAY 8.]

(since all persons are created by God in his image and likeness, are not all rulers and shepherds good? rather than human beings, is it not human acts, that is, acts that are freely chosen in consequence of a judgment of conscience, that can be morally evaluated as either good or evil? finally, since archbishop vigano is judging humans rather than acts and we are told-“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged”- couldn’t the publishing of this letter be an act of condemnation in and of itself?)

{…he came toward them walking on the sea.
When the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were terrified.
“It is a ghost,” they said, and they cried out in fear.
At once Jesus spoke to them, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”}
