Twenty-seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time

I offer this social Encyclical as a modest contribution to continued reflection, in the hope that in the face of present-day attempts to eliminate or ignore others, we may prove capable of responding with a new vision of fraternity and social friendship. #FratelliTutti

Quotes, Questions and Scriptures

I believe every Catholic is obligated to vote for Trump as he is the only pro life candidate on the ballot.

how can it be catholic to “arm only one single sentinel” to protect the city from abortion and then have our lives taken by lesser evils while we sleep?

he spaded it, cleared it of stones,

and planted the choicest vines;

within it he built a watchtower,

and hewed out a wine press.

Then he looked for the crop of grapes,

but what it yielded was wild grapes.

IS 5:2

Too many Catholics from parishioners to priests, Bishop Zurek and the Pope…

The Church Militant and the Church Triumphant, fresco by Andrea da Firenze in Santa Maria Novella, c. 1365

…have fallen in love with one world order…

is not the Church Triumphant (Latin: Ecclesia triumphans), which consists of those who have the beatific vision and are in Heaven, a “one world order”?

whatever is just, whatever is pure,

whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious,

if there is any excellence

and if there is anything worthy of praise,

think about these things.

PHIL 4:8

…and socialism.

is socialism not simply a religion that some take on when they grow weary of trying to obtain GOD’s produce from those practicing capitalism without catholicism?

The parable of the murderous vinedressers (Mt 21:33-43) is an admonition for all times, including our own. The vineyard is the Lord’s, not ours. And God awaits the fruit of His vineyard from those He has sent to work in it. #GospelOfTheDay

Pope Francis

“Therefore, I say to you,

the kingdom of God will be taken away from you

and given to a people that will produce its fruit.”
