R. Alleluia, alleluia.
Jesus Christ became poor although he was rich,
So that by his poverty you might become rich.
R. Alleluia, alleluia.

FRANCIS
ON FRATERNITY AND SOCIAL FRIENDSHIP
CHAPTER ONE
DARK CLOUDS OVER A CLOSED WORLD
GLOBALIZATION AND PROGRESS WITHOUT A SHARED ROADMAP
31. In this world that races ahead, yet lacks a shared roadmap, we increasingly sense that “the gap between concern for one’s personal well-being and the prosperity of the larger human family seems to be stretching to the point of complete division between individuals and human community… It is one thing to feel forced to live together, but something entirely different to value the richness and beauty of those seeds of common life that need to be sought out and cultivated”.[29] Technology is constantly advancing, yet “how wonderful it would be if the growth of scientific and technological innovation could come with more equality and social inclusion. How wonderful would it be, even as we discover faraway planets, to rediscover the needs of the brothers and sisters who orbit around us”.[30]

Bishop Patrick J. Zurek

it never ends, that i as a comfortable-catholic in fear put forth a bland aroma as i “race ahead, yet lack a shared roadmap”, as i conduct my affairs and justify myself in the sight of others by thinking it is best to ‘“Just Tell No One,”’ when witnessing abuse along my way…

it never ends, that i as a maga-catholic in fear, put forth a noxious aroma as i conduct my affairs to justify myself in the sight of others by using a “cynical interpretation of the seeming silence” of the pope to stretch “the gap between concern for one’s personal well-being and the prosperity of the larger human family”…

it never ends, that i as a socialist-catholic in fear, put forth a putrid aroma as i justify myself in the sight of others, but “demonstrate a fundamental lack of understanding of the essential contribution made by faith communities to the well-being, resilience and health of our society,” as i conduct my affairs while believing the world should be “forced to live together,”…

It never ends, that we as Catholics in LOVE put forth a fragrant aroma knowing “…what is of human esteem is an abomination in the sight of God.”, as we “‘value the richness and beauty of those seeds of common life that need to be sought out and cultivated'”; therefore conducting our affairs with justice, as we see to it that “An election …is always about a moment in time when a new beginning is possible,”!!!
