It baffles me that that although we are in the Gaudete (Rejoicing) week of Advent that Bishop Zurek has not posted his letter Christ—The Joy of Life/Cristo—El Gozo de la Vida, A Pastoral Letter to the People of God of the Diocese of Amarillo, An Advent reflection: Encountering Joy in the midst of Uncertain Times on the diocesan website.
Why in these “Uncertain Times”, when a general dispensation in in place, must we present ourselves at our local parish in order to recieve a message of joy from our shepherd?
